Recently Concluded Event: ICBR 2016


BRSF held its 2nd International Conference on Biosciences Research (ICBR) at Owerri, Nigeria from 24-27 November 2016. The theme of the Conference was Biosciences and Biotechnology: Prospects for the 21st Century. It was a memorable event, and featured the following keynote speakers: Prof. Asokan Chinnasamy, India (Development of Therapeutic and Diagnostic Molecules by rDNA and Hybridoma Technology); Prof. Emeka Iweala, Nigeria (Molecular Biology: Avenue to Understanding and Controlling Cancer); Dr. Eman A. Alam, Egypt (Pharmacological studies on the Qurani plants' mixture (a new pharmaceutical product)); Dr. Altaib A.R. Mohammed, Egypt (Validity of ordinary Portland cement for mandibular surgical bone defect healing), amongst other participants. The event's closing remarks was by Rev. Innocent Osuoha (Public Relations Officer, Hezekiah University).

ICBR Owerri 2016 was organized in collaboration with Hezekiah University, Umudi, Nigeria.

BRSF seeks, and is willing to work together on purposeful initiatives with other non-profit organizations, educational institutions, companies etc. in the achievement of the Foundation's goals. We therefore welcome proposals and/or indications of interests for possible collaborations on any of our programs and events.
